right now i'm working on my model. i will post a picture when it's done. i also am ordering the materials from amazon and they should be here in a few weeks. i'm planning to cut open an elasto-gel sample and seeing what materials they use and how they work. i will test and compare/contrast to the materials that i'm using. this will be posted on my blog whenever i can. (most likely be on or around spring break, when i have some time)

before i can advance to my actual prototype, i'll need to make a model. i'm using wire as a base and clay (model magic) for the actual thing. i still need to figure out correct measurements for head sizes. i need data for children, teens, young adults, adults, and seniors. hopefully i can find all of those soon so i can buy the right amount of velcro. all of my materials are linked (using amazon) in the post before my last.

tuesday was idea showcase. i worked really hard on poster; including a timeline, expenses, goals, materials, charts, and drawings. the people who came really liked it, but unfortunately there weren't that many people there. i listened to their questions and now that i've collected all of my data and info, i really have to focus on building my model. i am going to use clay, wire, and a wire tool. for my actual prototype, i will need an elasto gel sample for research about the materials, a velcro strap, fabric, and polymer granules for the filling. (**all of these are just examples**) this will cost at least $50 combined, not including tools i already have at home such as water, paper, pencils, etc.

i'm using piktochart to make my infographic. i made a google doc with the information for my presentation and i'm making index cards to remember my topic points. i also used piktochart for my human rights resolution in GEMS class. i like this because it has so many different templates to choose from. also, i finished my final logo. and i've been doing research to make sure no other companies or organizations have the same logo. i still need the polymer granules and the fabric. i'm gonna use velcro to make the band adjustable for every head size. i am working on blueprints right now. i have a lot going on but i think i can pull it all together for a successful idea showcase.
